Mechanical (Architectural) Engineer
(Remote, Full-time)
About the Opportunity
We are currently searching for an experienced mechanical engineer with architectural design experience to join our growing firm and be a part of an organization that strives to exceed client objectives and solve their most complex challenges. The ideal candidate comes with the skills and knowledge to independently design and prepare high-quality engineering documents for retail, workplace, hospitality, and restaurant projects.
Salary Range:
$80,000-$90,000/annum, negotiable based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
Qualifications – Requirements:
3-5+ years of experience as a mechanical systems designer/engineer at engineering consultancy(ies).
A Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited college or university.
Existing knowledge of mechanical engineering and corresponding and familiarity with MEP design.
Existing knowledge of mechanical codes including but not limited to IMC.
Ability to read, interpret, and implement mechanical design documentation.
Excellent work ethic, attitude, communication, and self-organization skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Qualifications – Nice to Have:
EIT certification or PE license, or on track to obtain licensure.
Experience in direct communication with project stakeholders including architects, owners, and other project consultants.
Ambitions for career advancement including leadership for the mechanical engineering discipline.
Existing knowledge plumbing engineering.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as lead mechanical engineer on assigned projects.
Draft technical documentation utilizing AutoCAD and Revit.
Perform equipment and system sizing technical calculations.
Review submittals, shop drawings, and RFI’s.
With minimal supervision, assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the physical work site, surveys, schematics, technical drawings, and other documents for project development, design, and construction.
Work with cross-functional teams in executing project work.
Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products.
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Forethoughtful – Maintains attention and action towards continuously enhancing the engineering work and design standards of the firm.
Collaborative – Collaborates in a manner that is clear, motivating, and goal-oriented.

Electrical (Architectural) Engineer
